Welcome to this eLearning course, which focuses on Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Adult, Child and Infant in community sites.
This course has been developed for Nurses, Midwives, Medical Staff and Allied Health who work at any community site.

The course is designed to take approximately 40 minutes to complete.
The course can be completed in a single session or over two or more sessions.
You are required to complete the assessment questions to gain a certificate of completion for Basic Life Support – Community eLearning.
This course adheres to South Australian (SA Health) guidelines and Australian National Standards.
The principles described in the course can however be applied to any health care setting.
If you practice outside South Australia it is your responsibility to refer to the specific requirements of your local health authority.
This course aligns with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards, Second Edition – Standards 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 8.
